Ingredients
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1 (10 ounce.) can cream of celery soup
- 1 (3 ounce.) pkg. cream cheese, cut into cubes
- 4 c. frzn shredded potatoes for hash browns
- 1/3 c. shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
- Cook onion in a little water till tender. Drain. Combine soup and cream cheese in saucepan, heat, stirring till mix is smooth. Combine frzn potatoes and onions in a 2 qt casserole. Stir in warm soup mix. Cover and bake in moderate oven, 350 degrees, 1 hour 15 min. Remove lid, sprinkle cheddar cheese on potatoes and return to oven long sufficient to heat cheese.
