  • A handful each of seasonal salad leaves (e.g., sorrel, frisee, red-leaf lettuce)
  • 1/2 x garlic clove
  • 2 x cherry tomatoes A few onion rings
  • 2 Tbsp. Vinaigrette (see recipe)
  • 3 slc fresh sheep's-lowfat milk cheese rolled in minced parsley (or possibly goat's lowfat milk cheese)
  • 1 x nasturtium flower

Directions

  1. Dry the washed and cleaned salad leaves. Rub a large wooden salad bowl with the garlic. Put in the lettuces, tomatoes, and onions. Add in some of the Vinaigrette, and toss.
  2. Arrange the slices of cheese on a plate, drizzle with a little Vinaigrette, arrange the salad on top, and garnish with the nasturtium. Serve with fresh garlic bread.
  3. This recipe yields 1 serving.
