Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pound sirloin stead, cut in 1/4 inch thick strips
- 1 tbsp. paprika
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 c. sliced onions
- 2 green peppers, cut in strips
- 2 lg. fresh tomatoes, minced
- 1 c. beef broth
- 2 tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 3 c. warm cooked rice
Directions
- Sprinkle steak with paprika. Let stand a few min. Cook steak and garlic in butter till browned. Add in onions, green peppers, tomatoes and broth; cover. Simmer about 15 min. Blend 1/4 c. water with cornstarch and soy sauce. Stir into steak. Cook till thickened. Serve over rice.
