Ingredients
- 2 c. All-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. Granulated white sugar
- 3 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Nutmeg or possibly mace
- 1/4 c. Wesson or possibly Crisco liquid oil
- 3/4 c. Lowfat milk
- 1 x Egg
Directions
- Sugar & Cinnamon Mix Sift together dry ingredients. Then stir all ingredients together with a fork till thoroughly mixed. Drop by teaspoonsful (small size) into deep warm oil or possibly fat fryer at (375 degrees).
- Fry till golden (about 3 min). Drain on paper towels and cooling rack. Roll hot puffs in cinnamon-sugar or possibly glaze puffs by dipping into a thin confectioner's sugar icing. Don't cook too many at one time, as fat will cold down and puffs will absorb grease and remain doughy.
