Ingredients: 1 c. Butter; 2 c. (scant) sugar; 4 x Large eggs; 2 1/2 c. Flour; 1 pch Salt; 1 c. Buttermilk; 1 tsp Soda; 6 sqr German chocolate; 3 Tbsp. Vanilla; 1 box (1-lb) powdered sugar; 1 Tbsp. (heaping) cocoa; 1/4 c. Butter; 6 Tbsp. Cool coffee; 1 tsp Vanilla Grated pecans

1 c. Butter
2 c. (scant) sugar
4 x Large eggs
2 1/2 c. Flour
1 pch Salt
1 c. Buttermilk
1 tsp Soda
6 sqr German chocolate
3 Tbsp. Vanilla
1 box (1-lb) powdered sugar
1 Tbsp. (heaping) cocoa
1/4 c. Butter
6 Tbsp. Cool coffee
1 tsp Vanilla Grated pecans

Directions

Cream butter & sugar. Add in Large eggs & beat well. Add in flour sifted with a healthy pinch of salt. Add in buttermilk & soda. Mix well. Heat chocolate & add in it with vanilla to batter. Mix well. Pour into a greased & floured 9x13x2-inch pan & bake at 300 for 30 min. Cook & frost. ICING: Cream sugar, butter & cocoa. Add in coffee & vanilla & beat till smooth. Spread on cooled cake.
Sprinkle grated nuts on top.
