Georgia Peach Bread Recipe

• 1 1/2 c. sugar
• 1/2 c. shortening
• 2 x Large eggs
• 2 1/4 c. pureed peaches ( fresh or possibly canned- even baby food peaches are okay )
• 2 c. all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp baking pwdr
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 c. finely minced pecans
