Directions

  1. Preheat Oven 350 degrees:
  2. For the Cake:
  3. Combine sugar and butter in mixer and blend until creamy. Add yogurt, eggs (one at a time), extract and spices and continue to blend. Gradually stir in the shredded carrots and chopped nuts. Combine sifted flour with baking powder and add to the batter along with the warm water.
  4. Pour batter into a butter bundt pan and bake 35-40 minutes or until the toothpick test comes out clean.
  5. Chocolate Drizzle with Chopped Walnuts:
  6. In a small saucepan, on low heat, combine the brown sugar, butter, chocolate pieces, flour and milk.
  7. When the chocolate is melted add the finely chopped nuts and drizzle over cooled cake.
