  • 1 can apple pie filling
  • 1/2 stick butter, melted
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla
  • 3-4 slices loaf bread

Directions

  1. Spread pie filling in greased 8 inch pie plate. Mix melted butter, egg, lemon juice, sugar, flour and vanilla. Spread 1/3 of mix over apples. Trim crust off bread. Place bread over apples to cover. Cut to fit. Place remaining butter-egg mix on top and bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 min or possibly till brown.
