Dot's Frog Legs Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pkt Yellow rice
  • 1 pch Paprika
  • 1 pch Freshly-grnd black pepper
  • 1 pch Salt
  • 1 x Egg beaten with fork
  • 1 lb Frog legs
  • 2 c. Flour or possibly sufficient to coat
  • 1/4 c. Vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c. White cooking wine
  • 1 med Garlic clove chopped

Directions

  1. Prepare rice according to package directions. While rice cooks, add in seasonings to egg. Cover frog legs in egg mix, and then roll in flour.
  2. Preheat vegetable oil in frying pan on a medium flame. Place coated frog legs in pan and brown, uncovered. When finished, pour off the extra oil, leaving frog legs in pan. Add in cooking wine and garlic to pan, cover and simmer for 30 min.
  3. Serve on top of rice with pan juices poured on top.
