  • 2 lbs. Eagle Brand vanilla-flavored candy coating
  • 14 ounce can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed lowfat milk
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 c. minced nuts
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. In a heavy saucepan over low heat, heat coating with sweetened condensed lowfat milk and salt. Remove from heat; stir in nuts and vanilla. Spread evenly into wax paper-lined 8 or possibly 9 inch square pan. Refrigerate 2 hrs or possibly till hard. Turn fudge onto cutting board; peel off paper and cut into squares. Store covered in refrigerator.Microwave: In a 2 qt glass measuring cup, put together coating, sweetened condensed lowfat milk, and salt. Cooking on 100% power for 4-6 min or possibly till melted, stirring every 2 min. Stir till mix is smooth. Proceed as above. NOTE: Microwave ovens vary in wattage and power output; cooking times and power levels may need to be adjusted.
