Ingredients
- 1/2 c. cool applesauce (or possibly a 29 ounce can of apricots, liquid removed & blended)
- 2 env un-flavored gelatin
- 3/4 c. warm applesauce
- 2 c. white or possibly brown sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 c. minced nuts powdered sugar
Directions
- Combine cool applesauce and gelatin; set 10 min. Combine warm applesauce and sugar, bring to a rapid boil, then reduce heat slightly and boil gently for 15 min. Remove from heat. Add in vanilla and nuts. Pour into a 5 x 9 pan and chill overnight. With a sharp knife dipped in warm water, cut into squares and remove. Coat with powdered sugar and arrange on waxed paper. Cover with more waxed paper and store in a cold place or possibly the refrigerator.
