Ingredients
- 3 lrg Onions, cut into 1/4" slices
- 1 c. Buttermilk
- 1/4 c. Flour
- 1/4 c. Fresh parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 Tbsp. Parsley
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 1/4 stk butter
Directions
- 1. In a sturdy palstic bag combine separated onion rings with buttermilk, close tightly and let sit at room temperature for 30 min.
- 2. In another plastic bag combine flour, cheese, parsley and salt; shake to mix.
- 3. In a large jelly roll pan, heat butter.
- 4. Drain onions instrainer; drop, a few at a time into the flour mix and shake to coat.
- 5. Place in a single layer in butter in pan and bake at 375 degrees for 30 min, carfully turning once during cooking
