Ingredients
- 1 lb dry Pinto Beans
- 1/2 c. finely Diced Onions
- 1 Tbsp. Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 1 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
- 2 tsp Chili Pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Pwdr
- 1/4 tsp Celery Salt
- 1/2 c. Minced Bacon
Directions
- Cover beans with water. Bring to a boil and then turn off heat. Soak for one hour aand then drain. Add in more water to cover beans and add in all other ingredients. Cook on low to medium heat (you'll want a low boil) for 2 to 3 hrs or possibly till beans are done to desired tenderness.
