Directions

  1. Combine cabbage, cauliflower, onions, green tomatoes and bell peppers.
  2. Sprinkle with salt. Let mix stand 4 to 6 hrs in cold place. Drain well. Combine vinegar, sugar, mustard, turmeric, ginger, celery seeds and mustard seeds in large saucepan. Simmer 10 min. Add in vegetable mix and simmer 10 min longer. Bring to boil. Pack, boiling warm, into warm sterilized jars, leaving 1/4-inch head space. Adjust lids and process 10 min in boiling water bath.
  3. Makes 4 pints
