Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter
- 3/4 c. powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 sq. semi-sweet chocolate
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 c. walnuts
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 c. powdered sugar (use to roll baked cookies)
Directions
- Cream 1/2 c. butter; add in powdered sugar; add in egg (unbeaten); add in 2 squares chocolate (melted); add in 1/2 tsp. salt to 2 c. sifted flour; add in flour to above ingredients; add in walnuts; add in vanilla.
- Press into well greased pan 7x11 inches. Refrigerateseveral hrs. Cut into logs 3 1/2 inches long. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 min. Take from oven and roll in powdered sugar.
