Ingredients
- 1 kg Chicken joints
- 2 tsp Cummin seeds
- 2 tsp Mustard seeds
- 12 x Kashmiri chillies
- 1 head garlic
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric
- 1 x Onion, sliced Salt and vinegar to taste
Directions
- Grind the cummin, mustard, chillies and garlic. Add in the turmeric and enouch vinegar to create a paste. Rub the paste all over the chicken pcs and marinade for as long as possible. Fry the onion till brown then add in the chicken and brown. Add in a small amount of water (sufficient to stop the chicken drying out) and simmer till chicken is tender. Add in salt and vinegar to taste and cook for a few min more.
- Note :- This is equally good when lime juice is used in the spice mix instead of vinegar.
