Ingredients
- 4 Boneless skin on Chicken Breasts
- 1 tbs Olive Oil
- 1 tbls Butter
- 2 Carrots peeled and diced
- 2 Parsnips peeled and diced
- 1 Turnip peeled and diced
- 2 tsp fresh minced garlic
- 1 tbs Demi-Glace
- 1 tsp chopped fresh thyme
- 1 tsp honey
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1tbs fresh flat parsley chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Braised Cannellini Beans with Kale,Braised for Serving
Directions
- Season Chicken,with salt and pepper
- In an 11-inch skillet over medium heat warm oil ,brown chicken skin side down until crisp,turn chicken over reduce heat cover and cook about 8 more minutes
- transfer chicken to plate and tent with foil
- In same pan over medium heat add butter,add carrots,parsnips,and turnips stirring constantly for about one minute
- Reduce heat add in demi-glace, add garlic,thyme and honey,and broth,cover and cook for five more minutes
- remove from heat ,stir in parsley salt and pepper..Serve Chicken with Root veggies,and Braised Cannellini Beans an Kale..
