hi my name is charlene i have had a love affair with food a very long time,i have been cooking professionaly for over 25yrs have had a restaurant for ten yrs in mass,i cook with love and passion it could be for two people or two hundred those two ingredients go into all my food ,i then taste it in my mind and then prepare it.
Cooking Influences
My Grandmother was a fabulous cook ,a woman ahead of her time ,no measuring no machinery just wooden spoons and wooden bowls and two very strong hands her baking skills were beyond amazing ,her food was a masterpiece ,I would just watch her from a chair in our kitchen and my head took it all in ,Today I cook the same way ,remembering all her food in my mind .What a great Cook and teacher she was ..

- July 22, 2010Thanks to allof you who have emailed me and tried my recipes ,I will be adding a new recipe every day ,I enjoy a healthy lifestyle and will be adding healthy but delicious meals without the fat,I do a lot of cooking with olive oil for taste instead of butter and adding wine to a recipe makes for great taste without adding calories and also fresh herbs added for flavor ,Also making your own stock to cook with is worth the time these ingredients added to any bean or pasta or brown rice dish with some fresh tomatoes,fresh garlic can make a Heart healthy so keep your eye out for my recipes.Happy and HEALTHY EATING .....CHARLENE....

- July 15, 2010I am enjoying this very much and will be adding a lot of my favorite recipes,it takes me a while to write a recipe because when i create a meal or a single dish i use taste and feel not measurments ,of course when it comes to baking you must measure and even then i add or change things i try to create my own creation ......charlene sherman
