Ingredients
- 12 ounce Flour
- 8 ounce Sugar
- 8 ounce Margarine
- 6 ounce Glace cherries
- 2 ounce Grnd almonds
- 1 tsp Almond extract
- 4 x Large eggs
- 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
Directions
- 1. Cream margarine and sugar. Add in egg yolks, beat well, then add in flour, lowfat milk, glace cherries, grnd almonds, and extract. Beat egg whites till stiff and fold into the mix.
- 2. Fold mix into a greased and lined 7" cake tin. Bake at 160C (320F or possibly gas mark 3) for 75 min.
