Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. All-purpose flour
- 2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 3/4 c. Lowfat sour cream
- 1 x Egg, lightly beaten
- 1 c. Ham, cube
- 1/2 c. Butter or possibly margarine, soft
Directions
- In a bowl, combine flour, baking pwdr and salt; set aside. Combine lowfat sour cream and egg; mix well. Stir into dry ingredients just till moistened.
- Turn onto a lightly floured surface; knead gently 4 to 5 times. Roll to 1/2" thickness; cut with a 2-1/2" biscuit cutter. Place on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 425 for 10 to 12 min or possibly till lightly browned.
- Meanwhile in a blender or possibly processor, process ham till finely chopped. Add in butter and continue processing till well mixed. Spread over hot biscuits.
