Apricot Pineapple Barbecue Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 x onion chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 jar apricot-pineapple preserves - (18 ounce)
  • 1/4 c. pineapple juice
  • 1 can tomato sauce - (15 ounce)
  • 1/2 c. cider vinegar plus
  • 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
  • 1 x garlic clove chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Fry onion in oil over medium-high heat till golden brown, 3 to 5 min. Add in preserves, pineapple juice, tomato sauce, vinegar, garlic and Worcestershire and bring to boil. Simmer till thick and flavors have melded, 1 hour. Add in salt to taste.
  2. Serve with pork chops or possibly ribs.
