- September 11, 2010Rich: Thanks for the follow, it's kind of you. Yes, MSG rush can make you feel not only thirsty but awful, I try to eat at restaurants that are MSG free. Your blackberry tart looks amazing. I would have to convert the measurements to US amounts. So where did Scotch Eggs come from? I thought you'd be interested in this...Scotch Eggs are not Scottish at all, they were actually invented by the famous London department store, FORTNUM & MASON in 1851 and they were originally wrapped in SCOTCH Beef. I got this from a blog, Julesfood.blogspot.com. Take a look, it's very interesting. And since it contains pork...would you mind posting it on Porky Pig..That's Not All Folks group here on CES?
