Although mostly Italian with an eclectic twist is had at my table...I do enjoy Asian dishes. I just went to grab your Thai Shrimp and noodle recipe. The peanut butter sauce is a pure bonus ;o)
Nice to meet you and flavourful wishes,

About me
I LOVE to watch cooking shows and to read cooking magazines/cookbooks. I do love to cook too but I'm not exactly a chef. I'd like to start trying more new recipes and getting a little more adventureous. I'd like to be able cook mostly healthy recipes with occasional splurging.

- January 30, 2012Nelski from Philly, hello! Thanks for connecting. You will love this site, getting out of it in direct proportion to what you put into it. Lots of communication here - critiques, reviews, comments, mesages - all these make for a very lively web community of like-minded denizens of the kitchen. I look forward to sharing recipes with you. We do use crock pots frequently, and like our kitchen's pressure cookers, they have a very respected place along side the cast iron & stainless. So I'm sure we will be 'talking'. best regards, Amos3 replies
- January 30, 2012Thank you for the welcome! I can already tell I am going to be so happy with this site. So many wonderful people with great food & ideas. I already have a couple of your recipes in my try soon folder. I just have to find the time for all of these wonderful dishes!2 replies
-Kim- January 30, 2012You'll NEVER find the time to try all the great recipes you'll find on this site. You've probably already started to search through and join the Groups that appeal to your tastebuds, but I would encourage you to reach outside your comfort zone into a couple of the more 'far afield' groups and stretch your palates and continue to develop your skills. Hopefully your husband will encourage you and is not a straight-up meatnspuds guy - but, even then you'll find variations here...1 reply
- January 30, 2012Yeah I'm sure you are right about never getting around to all the recipes. I would like to try some foods a little out of my norm and become more of an advanced cook. So, here looks like a great place for those ideas. My husband is happy to try pretty much anything as long as pickles aren't invloved lol.
