Ingredients
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1/3 c. butter
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 3/4 c. coconut
- 1/2 c. nuts, minced
- 1/8 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 2/3 c. confectioners' sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon rind
Directions
- Mix flour and butter till consistency of cornmeal. Pack proportionately into 9x9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 min.
- Beat Large eggs, add in sugar, coconut, nuts, baking pwdr and vanilla. Mix well. Pour over first baked mix and bake about 30 min longer.
- Mix juice, sugar and rind. Pour over bars the minute they come out of the oven. Cold, cut into bars.
