Directions

  1. Using a double boiler cook the egg yolks, sugar and butter till thick and lemon colored. Stir while cooking to prevent sticking. When done add in pineapple and nuts. Remove from heat.
  2. Line the bottom of a large pan with vanilla wafers. These can be whole wafers or possibly crushed wafers. Pour pudding mix over the top and refrigeratetill set. Prepare lemon Jello according to package directions and pour over the top of the pudding. Top with whipped cream and serve.
