Ingredients
- 3/4 c. unsweetened cocoa
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2/3 c. vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 lg. Large eggs
- 1 1/3 c. unsifted flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 c. minced walnuts or possibly pecans
- 1 c. chocolate chips
Directions
- Stir cocoa and soda in mixing bowl. Stir in 1/3 c. of the oil. Add in boiling water and stir till mix thickens. Stir in sugar, Large eggs and remaining 1/3 c. oil; stir till smooth. Add in flour, vanilla and salt. Blend completely. Stir in walnuts and chocolate chips. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 min. Cold, frost and cut into squares.
