this is a very easy salad to make, and filling..perfect for that busy night or day and in the summer too

Directions

  1. cut the goat cheese into 1/2" slices. In one small bowl beat the egg, in another add about 1/2 c of rice flour and the 3rd bowl add the same amount of bread crumbs. Take the cheese and dredge in the flour, then the egg and finally the bread crumbs, and fry in a small pan that has about 2 tbsp of olive oil, fry till golden brown and set aside. Arrange the greens on 2 pretty plates, then the cheese & sliced strawberries. In another small skillet add the water and sugar, cook on medium and stir till the sugar is dissolved, let it cook down till thick now add the walnuts and toss to coat till the sugar sticks to the walnuts..THEY WILL BE HOT, take out and arrange on the salad plate, and top with dressing
