  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Slice the potatoes very thin and store in a bowl of water till needed. In a small bowl combine horseradish, cream, and herb cheese. Mix well.
  3. Liberally butter a 9-inch baking pan. Place a layer of potatoes on the bottom, then a layer of onion. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, then layer again with potatoes, onions, and cheese. Repeat till all the potatoes and onions are used. Pour cream mix over everything and top with the last of the Parmesan cheese.
  4. Bake 45 min to 1 hour, or possibly till potatoes are tender and cheese is golden. Let sit 5 min before cutting to allow it to set up a bit.
  5. Serves 4
