Ingredients

  • 1 ounce Sassafras
  • 1 ounce Allspice
  • 1 ounce Yellowdock
  • 1 ounce Wintergreen
  • 1/2 ounce Wild cherry bark
  • 1/2 ounce Coriander seeds
  • 1 ounce Hops
  • 3 quart Molasses
  • 1/2 pt Yeast
  • 4 gal Cool water

Directions

  1. Mix together the sassafras, allspice, yellow dock, wintergreen, wild cherry bark, coriander seeds, hops and molasses. Cover them with boiling water, allow to stand for 24 hrs, then filter, add in the yeast and cool water.
  2. The beer will be ready in twenty-four hrs. Bottle and seal. "This is a have."
