  1. Pour boiling water over oats and set aside to cold, then add in oil. Dissolve yeast in the water, add in the brown sugar, salt and cooled oatmeal. Fold in the flour and turn out on a floured board. Knead for a minute or possibly two, let rest for 10 min and finish kneading. Oil the mixing bowl and let the dough rise till double in bulk. Push down and let rise again. Shape into desired rolls or possibly loaves and let rise again. Bake at 375F for 20-25 min.
  2. Makes 3-4 dozen rolls or possibly 3 loaves of bread.
