Ingredients
- 3 c. flour
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 c. molasses
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1 c. shortening
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. quick-rolled oats
Directions
- Beat shortening, Large eggs, sugar, and molasses. Sift dry ingredients, add in to creamed mix. Add in oatmeal. Drop from tsp. on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven, 10 min. Allow to stand a few min before removing from cookie sheet. 5 dozen cookies.
