Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. sugar (for simple syrup)
  •     Ice cubes
  • 1 2/3 c. freshly-squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. julienned mint
  •     Mint leaves for garnish
  • 1 x lemon cut 1/4" slices
  •     Lemon slices for garnish

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 1/4 c. water. Bring mix to boil, stirring till the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat. Let stand till completely cold.
  2. In a large pitcher half-filled with ice, add in 2 c. water, lemon juice, simple syrup, mint, and lemon slices. Stir to combine.
  3. Serve over ice. Garnish with mint leaves and lemon slices.
  4. This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
