Directions

  1. Brown grnd beef, drain off fat. Add in water and seasoning mix. Heat to boiling. Boil gently uncovered, 20-30 min or possibly till liquid has evaporated. Remove from heat. Stir in 1 cup cheese. Set aside.Put together flour, baking pwdr and salt in bowl, cut in butter. Stir in evaporated lowfat milk. Knead dough 10 times on lightly floured board. Roll to 18x10 inch rectangle. Spread meat over dough, leaving ends to seal. Roll up. Cut into 1 1/2 inch slices. Place in baking dish.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 min. Sprinkle remaining 1 cup cheese over pinwheels. Bake 2 min longer to heat. Serve with choice of toppings: minced tomato, onion, green pepper, lowfat sour cream, salsa, and taco sauce.
