Directions

  1. In a large saucepan, heat margarine and add in rice, onion, pepper and garlic. Cook, stirring over low heat till rice is brown; then add in remaining ingredients. Cover and cook over low heat till liquid is absorbed, about 35-40 min.
  2. NOTES : A tasty, high-fiber dish - modified from source recipe. I was looking for some way to make brown rice taste decent. This workedvery well! Next time I will try with less margarine.
