Macaroni Fruit Salad Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) creamette Acini De Pepe macaroni

Directions

  1. Cook till tender, drain, rinse and drain again. Chill overnight. 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drain and save juice 1 can mandarin orange slices (drain, throw away juice)Refrigerate all fruit. Put together: 3/4 c. plus 2 T pineapple juice 1 T flour 3/4 c. sugar
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly till thick. Cool overnight. Put together sauce, fruit, macaroni and add in 1 (8 ounce) carton whipped topping. Refrigerate thoroughly. Serves 10 to 12 people.
  3. Suggestions: Sounds good to add in cherries, fruit cocktail or possibly any other fruits of your choice. (Also, add in salt to taste to the sauce, much better!) Enjoy!
