Ingredients

2 ounce Unsweetened chocolate
1 Tbsp. Unsalted butter
1/3 c. Water
1 c. Sugar
2 Tbsp. Light corn syrup

Directions

In a one qt saucepan, heat butter and chocolate. In a separate saucepan, bring water to a boil and add in to chocolate. Next, stir in sugar and corn syrup and simmer for 8 min. Keep sauce hot till ready to serve.
Yields about one c..
NOTE:This recipe is used in the preparation of another recipe in this cookbook, "Dessert Tostada," but can be prepared separately and used to top other desserts.
