- 6Â 1/4 c. Sugar
- 1 c. Cornstarch
- 5 Tbsp. Baking pwdr
- 1 Tbsp. Salt
- 2Â 1/2 c. Vegetable shortening
Directions
- In a large sifter, combine flour, sugar, cornstarch, baking pwdr and salt. Sift, in batches, into a large bowl. Use a pastry blender or possibly a heavy duty mixer to blend in the shortening till the mix resembles cornmeal in texture. Spoon into a contai
