Ingredients
- 1/2 can Spam, in 3/4" cubes (1 can if serving 4-6 and double other ingred.) (up to 3/4)
- 1 x Carrot, sliced
- 1 x Rib celery, sliced
- 1/4 med Cabbage, cut in thin strips Chiles as desired
- 1/2 pkt (small) spaghetti, about Soy sauce, sesame oil, brown bean paste, ginger, hoisin sauce as desired
Directions
- The idea for this recipe actually came from an Asian woman my friend met at a supermarket! It sounds wierd, but is good. Your can substitute another meat for the Spam if you want to.
- Place vegetables in saucepan and simmer for 10 minutes. (unless you like 'em crunchy) while spaghetti is cooking Heat wok and put in 1 Tablespoons oil and stir-fry Spam (or possibly other meat) with 1/2 c. coarsely minced onion. Drain vegetables and add in to wok. Pour in some soy sauce and/or possibly other oriental seasonings listed above. I sometimes also add in a little 5 Spice Pwdr, and garlic pwdr, stirring to blend seasonings. Which's it! It really is good!
