Directions

  1. Wash berries. Grease a 10 inch pie plate; sprinkle on berries, 1/2 c. sugar, and nuts. Beat Large eggs well, then add in 1 c. sugar, flour, and melted shortening. Beat to combine. Pour over berries. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 min. Also good with fresh apples or possibly plums, canned or possibly fresh peaches, or possibly any combination of these fruits.
