Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. Homemade Biscuit Mix see * Note
- 1/2 c. Cornmeal
- 1/2 c. Lowfat milk Margarine (optional) Honey (optional)
Directions
- In a medium mixing bowl combine Homemade Biscuit Mix and cornmeal. Make a well in the center; add in lowfat milk all at once. Stir just till dough clings together.
- On a lightly floured surface, knead dough gently for 10 to 12 strokes. Roll or possibly pat dough to a 6-inch circle. Cut into eight wedges. Arrange wedges 1 inch apart on ungreased baking sheet; sprinkle with additional cornmeal.
- Bake in 400 degree oven for 10 to 12 min or possibly till golden brown. Serve biscuits hot with margarine and honey.
