Broiled Lake Trout Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lrg Lake trout
  •     Garlic
  • 2 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp White pepper, grnd
  •     Maitre d'hotel butter
  •     Parsley

Directions

  1. Preheat the broiler. Bone the fish and flatten it out. Rub a small saucer generously with garlic. Mix the extra virgin olive oil and white pepper in the saucer.
  2. Rub this mix on both sides of the fish. Place the fish on a greased shallow pan. Broil till brown, turning once. Spread with Maitre d'Hotel Butter. Garnish with parsley. Serve warm.

    My husband caught several fish in Lake MI and this was my first attempt at trying out the fish! I believe the fish I used was actually a Coho Salmon, but the flavor was FABULOUS!! Definetly a recommended recipe as it was very easy to make as well!
    I've cooked/tasted this recipe!
