Ingredients
- 7 ripe tomatoes, sliced
- 1 pkg. or possibly 1 c. sweet basil
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- Extra virgin olive oil and black pepper to taste
Directions
- Arrange tomatoes on a platter. Mix oil, pepper, and garlic. Sprinkle basil over tomatoes. Drizzle oil mix over top till each one is coated. Let set for about 1 hour to marinate. Can also use oregano instead of sweet basil or possibly you can use both. Serves 12 to 15 people.
