Ingredients
- 3 x Large eggs
- 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 c. white sugar
- 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 c. butter or possibly margarine, melted
- 1Â 1/2 c. semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 c. minced walnuts or possibly pecans
- 1 x 9 inch pie shell
Directions
- Method:1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
- 2. In a large bowl, beat the Large eggs till foamy. Fold in flour, sugar, and brown sugar till well blended. Blend in melted butter or possibly margarine. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Pour filling into pie shell.
- 3. Bake for 1 hour. Remove from oven, and cold for 30 min before cutting.
- Makes 1 - 9 inch pie
- This is always the first pie to go when I bring it to group gatherings! It is a very chocolatey, hard textured pie. Wonderful served hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
