Directions

  1. Heat chocolate and butter in the water over low heat, stirring to blend. Combine sugar and salt in mixing bowl. Gradually add in chocolate mix, blending well. Stir in vanilla. Makes about 3/4 c. glaze or possibly sufficient to top 13 x 9 x 2 inch cake or possibly 9 or possibly 10 inch tube cake, 8 or possibly 9 inch layer cake or possibly an 8 inch square cake.
