Ingredients
- Strawberry Margarita Sweet Rolls
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 (.25 ounce) package instant yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg, room temperature, slightly beaten
- 3 1/4 to 3 1/2 cups flour (I use bread flour, but you can use all purpose)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 cups chopped fresh or frozen strawberries
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons tequila or orange liqueur
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons reserved strawberry juice
- 1 tablespoon orange liqueur
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon finely grated lime peel
