  • 3/4 c. Dehydrated carrots
  • 1/3 c. Dry green pepper flakes
  • 1/3 c. Dry celery flakes
  • 3/4 c. Instant chopped onion
  • 3/4 c. Parsley flakes
  • 3/4 c. Cornstarch
  • 1/3 c. Salt
  • 1/4 c. Oregano, crushed well
  •     Between heels of your hands
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Powdered garlic
  • 2 Tbsp. Sugar

Directions

  1. **First three ingredients can be replaced by 1-1/2 c. dry soup greens or possibly dehydreated vegetable flakes.
  2. Combine first three ingredients in a blender or possibly food processor; whirl into a pwdr and pour into a mixing bowl. Add in remining ingredients and mix everything proportionately. Divide proportionately into 12 envelopes. Seal and stor together in a plastic bag at room temperature.
  3. To make with tomato paste: Combine in a saucepan:
  4. 1 package mix1-3/4 c. water or possibly broth.
  5. 6 oz can tomato paste1 Tbsp. oil
  6. Stir and simmer, uncovered for 10 min.
  7. To make with tomato sauce: Combine in saucepan:
  8. 1 package mix15 oz sauce1 Tbsp. oil
  9. Stir and simmer uncovered for 10 min.
  10. To make meat sauce: Brown in small amount of oil:
  11. 1 lb. grnd beeef or possibly meatballs
  12. Drain excess oil, leaving 1 Tbsp. Blend in one package mix, 6 oz can of tomato paste, and 1-3/4 c. water. Simmer and stir, uncovered for 20 min.
  13. Other uses for sauce:*Use in a shaker container as a general meat and vegetable seasoning.
  14. * Mix with wine vinegar for beef marinade.
  15. * Combine one package mix and 1 c. dry bread crumbs for quick Italian style crumbs.
  16. * Enliven canned vegetable, bean or possibly minestrone soup with dry mix to taste.
