  • 2 pound shrimp (fresh or possibly frzn)
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 onion (between med. and big)
  • 1 green pepper, big
  • 1/2 c. parsley
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 can fire roasted pimentos
  • 1/2 c. catsup
  • 1/2 c. cooking wine
  • 1 tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon Accent
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Mexican warm sauce (optional)
  • 3 garlic cloves

Directions

  1. Clean and wash shrimp (if they are fresh). Fry in warm oil till they get a pink color (frzn are already cooked, do not keep them to long frying). Add in onion, garlic and green pepper (blender) and fry for 5 min. Blender parsley, roasted pimentos with its juice. Add in this with tomato sauce, catsup, bay leaf, cooking wine, Mexican sauce, salt, Accent, black pepper and vinegar. Cook in low flame for about 25 to 30 min. 6 portions.
