Russian "Dump" Chicken (Crockpot) Recipe

Ingredients

  • 5 lb skinless chicken thighs or possibly breasts
  • 1 env Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • 1 bot Russian Dressing
  • 1 jar Apricot Jam

Directions

  1. Mix last 3 ingredients, pour over chicken. Cook in crockpot for 6-8 hours on LOW or possibly 4-5 hrs on High. Serve over rice.
  2. NOTES : This is one of my favorite recipe for the crockpot. I've also seen it called Golfer's Chicken. It doesn't give sizes for the dressing or possibly jam - usually I only find one size of the dressing and I use the smallest jar of apricot jam. I have frzn the leftovers in individual servings and heated in the microwave. Just do not freeze the rice in the same package because the chicken takes longer to get hot.
