Creole Chicken/Crockpot Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 x frying chicken cut up
  • 1 x green pepper minced
  • 6 x green onions minced
  • 1 can tomatoes - (16 ounce) undrained
  • 1 can tomato paste - (6 ounce)
  • 1/4 lb ham minced or possibly cubed
  • 1 tsp salt Several drops bottled warm pepper sauce
  • 1/2 lb smoked sausage sliced
  • 3 c. cooked rice

Directions

  1. In the crock pot, combine the chicken, pepper, onions, tomatoes, tomato paste, ham, salt, and pepper sauce. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 hrs.
  2. Turn control to HIGH and add in sausage and cooked rice. Cover and cook on HIGH for 15 to 20 min.
