Ingredients

  • 2 c. scalded lowfat milk
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 cake fresh yeast or possibly 3 dry yeast
  • 7 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 c. melted butter and/or shortening
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3 T lowfat sour cream (beat large eggs with cream)

Directions

  1. Dissolve sugar in lowfat milk. Cool and add in yeast and 1/2 of the flour. Mix. Let rise 45 min. Add in egg mix and melted butter alternately then flour. Knead well and let set 10 min. Roll as needed.
